The Brand Leader supports store leadership by helping create an exceptional customer experience that reflects the James Avery brand. This role leads by example on the sales floor, contributes to brand growth, guides team members, and helps set both team-wide and individual goals that align with the store's mission. The Brand Leader ensures customers feel welcome, valued, and connected to the craftsmanship and meaning behind every piece.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the warm, genuine hospitality James Avery is known for.
  • Engage customers with product knowledge, meaningful conversation, and personalized service.
  • Help drive sales by motivating the team and implementing effective selling behaviors.
  • Assist in creating daily, weekly, and seasonal sales goals for the store and team.
  • Support customers through returns, exchanges, engravings, and special orders with care and accuracy.
  • Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and brand values.
  • Help create clear performance goals for individual team members to support growth and accountability.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and recognition to encourage continuous improvement.
  • Assist in training new associates on product knowledge, selling standards, and store expectations.
  • Foster a supportive, encouraging environment that aligns with James Avery's culture.

Requirements

  • Retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate others and support goal achievement.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Passion for jewelry, craftsmanship, and meaningful customer connections.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour
