Position Specific Description
We're seeking a
Senior Recruiter
with knowledge of the Houston energy market to join our team. You'll lead full-cycle recruiting for specialized and hard-to-fill roles across our energy business, leveraging your local market expertise and established network to identify top talent.
What You'll Do
- Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to develop talent strategies for critical roles
- Source, screen, and close candidates for technical, commercial, and leadership positions in the energy sector
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates through market knowledge and networking
- Provide consultative guidance on competitive market intelligence, compensation trends, and hiring strategies
- Mentor junior team members and share best practices
What You Bring
- Recruiting experience, preferably in the energy industry
- Strong knowledge of the Houston energy market, talent landscape, and key competitors
- Proven track record filling complex, senior-level, or niche positions
- Excellent relationship-building skills with candidates and stakeholders
- Confidence navigating ambiguity and adapting quickly to changing business needs

Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Drives full-cycle recruitment for high-complexity or hard-to-fill roles
- Provides strategic advice to hiring managers on talent acquisition approaches
- Creatively sources passive candidates and builds long-term pipelines
- Conducts competency-based and final-round interviews, advising on selection decisions
- Leads process improvements and mentors junior recruiters
- Analyzes and acts on recruiting data to improve strategies and outcomes
- Manages complex offer negotiations and addresses counteroffers
- Sources talent broadly and supports hiring practices that ensure a diverse and productive workforce
- Enhances employer branding by representing the company at events and through content
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience: 4+ years
