We are seeking a
Graduate Engineer
to join our Houston, TX team Kickstart your career with us
As a Graduate Engineer, you will be an integral part of our design and engineering team, supporting active projects across various phases—from concept development to construction. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience, mentorship, and professional development within a collaborative and dynamic work environment.
Job Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Assist Professional Engineers (P.E.s) and EITs with the development of engineering plans, specifications, and reports
- Perform basic design calculations and prepare design documents under supervision
- Draft and edit plans using AutoCAD and/or Microstation
- Conduct quantity take-offs and assist with cost estimation
- Support permitting processes and preparation of record drawings
- Participate in site visits and field investigations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project workflows and deliverables
- Stay current with applicable design standards and agency requirements
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (ABET Accredited)
- Strong interest in infrastructure and transportation projects (or specify based on team focus)
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Microstation is a plus
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a professional engineering environment
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
