As a Patrol Unarmed officer with Allied Universal in a government setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for the community. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the government location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor for security-related hazards and report any observed concerns as per Allied Universal guidelines.
• Maintain a visible presence at the location to help to deter potential disturbances and provide assistance as needed.
• Document incidents and daily activities accurately and promptly according to Allied Universal standards.
• Support access control procedures by observing entry and exit points as required by site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of one year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
