Science Teacher

FLSA Status: Exempt
Minimum Qualifications:
SC certification in Science with a strong GPA in relevant coursework
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of effective and innovative instructional and student evaluation techniques
Experience working with high school students preferred
Knowledge of instructional technology and its applications to the teaching of science
Willingness to work with other teachers to promote interdisciplinary studies
Skill in interpersonal relations with pupils, parents, teachers, staff and the general public
Outstanding references from current and former supervisors
Satisfactory background report
Salary Range: Teacher Salary Schedule for the school year.
Length of Contract: 190 days, in accordance with the Rock Hill School's adopted calendar. For the school year, the contract days will be pro-rated based on the approved start date.
Start Date: Determined by Human Resources

PRE-ONBOARDING REQUIREMENTS:
