Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Security Hiring Manager to join our team in Indiana. This role is crucial in overseeing our security operations and ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our clients. The Security Manager will play a key role in upholding our mission and values while leading a team of professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day security operations for 300+ person security team.
  • Handle hiring, onboarding, and termination processes in coordination with leadership.
  • Must be able to travel; which may require to stay overnight (Indiana, Ohio, Michigan)
  • Manage staff schedules and performance evaluations.
  • Prepare reports, process payroll, and maintain client documentation
  • Develop and implement security protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of security measures.
  • Train and supervise security personnel to maintain high standards.
  • Support recruiting efforts and employee relations initiatives.
  • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed.
  • Manage incident reports and investigations effectively.
  • Ensure proper use of surveillance equipment and technology.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and teamwork within the department.
  • Qualifications
  • 2+ years of office management (security industry preferred)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to handle confidential personnel matters professionally
  • Proven experience in security management or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of law enforcement practices and surveillance systems.
  • Excellent conflict management skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Ability to train and lead a diverse team effectively.
  • Familiarity with loss prevention strategies is preferred.
  • Military background is advantageous but not required.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be able to pass a background check/drug screen
