Roles and Responsibilities


• Responsible for execution of design/turbine operation changes to bend the curve to mitigate failure rates in warranty fleet and leverage where possible into core fleet


• Partner with Repairs team to define requirements and develop assessment methods improve repair processes


• Identify and develop programs to drive down time to return units to service


• Lead technical program teams on all system trade-offs and optimizations with a focus on the reduction of Services costs


• Communicate and provide recommendations through analysis, preparation and presentation of technical material to internal and external audiences


• Lead major NPI investments from pre-conceptual design work through design, validation, and launch prioritizing and managing risks on safety, quality, delivery, and cost


• Contribute to development of the Multigeneration Engineering Plan for Services, focused on improving operations through reliability and cost


• Effectively manage program requirements and requirement flow down to optimize product offering and competitiveness


• Work with Systems Leaders to leverage lessons learned, best practices, process improvements and standard work


• Support and improve the availability and serviceability of existing wind turbine fleet


• Contribute to new and existing design practices

Required Qualifications


• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college


• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Engineering/Technology

• System or product-level mindset


• Conceptual design and/or system-level trade-off experience


• Wind turbine experience in design, installation, operation, maintenance or repairs


• Requirements definition, decomposition, and/or translation experience


• Effective communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences


• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $88,600.00 and $147, The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
