Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Act and behave positively and create a hospitality atmosphere amongst team members for all to provide to every customer.   • Lead:
  • Train, coach, and mentor each team member to make, roll, bake, and decorate each cookie, each week to corporate standards. Picture quality 100%.
  • Teaching to Embrace the Mission. Approach each day with Our Mission one person at a time.
  • Conduct regular meetings with bakers no less than every other month.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, addressing conflicts and providing support as needed.
  • Lead by example, maintaining professionalism and a strong work ethic.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review goals, feedback, and operational updates.
  • Staff Training and Development:
  • Create a comprehensive training program for new hires, including hands-on instruction and performance evaluations.
  • Mentor and guide staff, fostering a team-oriented environment and ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Monitor the progress of new staff and provide constructive feedback to ensure they meet operational standards within defined timelines.
  • Establish milestone-based training goals for new staff, such as
  • Consistent Quality:
  • Prepare and ensure all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to our recipes and standards to replicate Corporate cookies photos.
  • Respond to and hold accountable the appropriate team members where the process breaks down.
  • Prepare and submit no later than 10am MDT the Quality Cookie photo for corporate needed items (usually 6 gourmet cookies of each week and tbd as needed as a test kitchen)
  • Manage and Regulate Inventory:
  • Systematize dough making, baking and decorating process to ensure the right amounts are being made and minimize waste to 4% or less each week.
  • Keep track of and update ingredients, supplies and hardware needed to achieve goals.
  • Update current inventory no later than 12pm each Tuesday to accurately reflect actual on-hand ingredients in the store.
  • Watch for and report innovative ideas and processes to increase efficiency.
  • Sanitation and Cleanliness:
  • Follow and maintain appropriate cleaning schedules for all areas of the store, including storage areas.
  • Create and maintain a cleaning schedule for all food use areas for sanitation and cleanliness to be reviewed with owner or manager.
  • Create and maintain log for refrigeration and warming items and work with owner or manager with equipment issues.
  • Customer Interaction:
  • Assist at the counter, help customers, bake, and decorate cookies.
  • Work in the community to engage with and talk to customers about wants, needs and desires with our products. Can we help them? Do they want catering? What options are available? (Tanya cookie cake story)
  • Opportunities:
  • Event and Food Trailer incorporation into productivity. Work on menu and best sales for all items.
  • Recipe generation – create trending recipes with your name on it to report to corporate submission. Be a part of a test kitchen to create, sell, and report findings. Get your name on the cookie, drink, coffee – who knows?
  • Master Baker – Multiple location lead. Opportunity exists in Colorado to lead a team for the event and multiple locations.

Success Metrics:

  • Consistent production of high-quality baked goods.
  • Increased sales in areas YOY and in conjunction with Crave Corporate sales.
  • Successful training and integration of new staff within designated timelines.
  • Positive feedback from event and food trailer clients.
  • Compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in food preparation and baking, with a strong emphasis on cookie and cake decorating skills.
  • Proven customer service abilities and effective food handling practices.
  • Background in culinary arts with a focus on kitchen experience in the food industry.
  • Familiarity with catering and restaurant operations, alongside proficient knife skills and food production techniques.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour
