Quality Analyst
to support our growing mattress manufacturing company. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting the planning, design, and execution of test plans, test scripts, and process plans for projects, Work Standards, Control Plans, Quality Criteria, and training. Will work closely with various departments to perform and validate quality requirements and recommend changes to predetermined quality guidelines. Will be co-responsible for ensuring that the product meets the quality standards, Future employees will have the opportunity to join

SUMMARY:
Supports all production/facility equipment during normal operation, performs preventive maintenance on all equipment, and maintains facility in top condition.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure that all objectives are met.
  • Develop, control, and update, SOPs, flow charts, systems, and methods as assigned by Quality Manager.
  • Creation and maintenance of Control Plans and Quality Criteria for Critical to Quality items at each stage of the process.
  • Implement and monitor data to assess Incoming Inspection, In-Process Inspection, and Final quality of the product.
  • Inspect parts and products to customer, company, and supplier dimensional drawings and standards.
  • Identify and remedy defects within the production process.
  • Recommend, implement, and monitor preventative and corrective actions to ensure that quality assurance standards are achieved.
  • Compile, analyze, and share statistical data daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly as necessary.
  • Co-responsible to ensure that user expectations are met during the testing process.
  • Draft quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Develop procedures for controlling, and analyzing, customer complaints and return units, investigate customer complaints, and product issues.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements as assigned by Quality Manager
  • Responsible for the integrity and reporting of data from Quality Databases.
  • Control internal calibration plan and calibrate critical measurement tools internally as required Process priorities in a timely manner.
  • Perform compliance assessments and internal audits.
  • Keep control of measuring devices and calibration frequencies

Job Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in quality inspection, auditing, and testing.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of QA databases and applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
