Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service in a lively environment, with experience in food and beverage service, including fine dining, nightclubs, and banquet settings. This role requires excellent time management skills, proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha and Micros, and a strong understanding of food safety and responsible alcohol serving practices. The Bartender will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing drink orders and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems like Aloha and Micros.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards.
  • Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for accurate billing and change.
  • Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages.
  • Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible alcohol service in accordance with licensing laws.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering or banquet events to coordinate food and beverage service.
  • Uphold high standards of hospitality in various settings such as fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or retail environments within the food industry.
  • Assist in training new staff members on POS systems, food handling procedures, and customer service protocols.

Requirements

  • Required experience as a bartender or in a similar food service role; nightclub or banquet experience is a plus (at least 1 year).
  • Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest interactions professionally.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods efficiently.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol serving practices.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and calculating bills accurately.
  • Ability to serve alcohol responsibly in compliance with legal regulations.
  • Experience working in fine dining, nightclubs, catering, or the food industry is preferred.
