Status: Part time, Non-Exempt

Overview

The FacilityCrew Member position is a combination of maintenance, sanitation, and customer service at the Everpark Garage. The Crew Member interacts with the public and monthly parking customers. A friendly and professional demeanor with the ability to problem-solve is required.

The position operates Saturday and Sunday from 7:30am to 4pm. Flexibility may be required for special events.

Primary Responsibilities

· Interact professionally with the public and garage customers to deliver customer service and support

· Monitor automated parking machinery to ensure continuous functionality. Troubleshoot machine failures as needed and report all issues to the Facility Supervisor or Field Operations Manager.

· Patrol parking facilities to check for areas of spills, litter, vandalism, etc., and report security problems, damage, or any other issues

· Perform facility sanitation duties including cleaning biohazard and non-biohazard related issues (e.g., needles, drug use related items, human waste)

· Ensure facility is presentable to customers and the public, including graffiti removal, painting, sweeping, dusting, scrubbing, trash removal, and general facility clean-up

· Perform periodic facility maintenance needs, such as painting, and scraping paint

· Accurately fill out facility task performance reports: facility inspection logs and facility task logs

· Perform parking audits: counting number of unoccupied parking stalls

· Secure the parking garage, lots, and other equipment at the end of the day

· Patrol facilities to mark cars, leave violation notices, and impound unauthorized vehicles

· Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor

Preferred Experience

· customer service experience with in-person customer interaction

· janitorial or sanitation experience

· experience with power tools and equipment, such as pressure washer, blowers, etc

Preferred Qualification

· High school diploma or GED when possible

· Communicates effectively in English

· Lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds as needed

· 21 years of age or older at time of hire

· Proven ability to work independently with little to no oversight

Physical demands and Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly:

· Climbs, kneels, stands, walks, uses hands to handle or feel, speaks, and listens.

· Exposed to outside weather conditions including freezing temperatures, snow, and heat.

Compensation

Compensation range is $21.00 per hour. Benefits include holiday pay and sick leave

Uniforms and personal protective gear are provided.

Due to the nature of the work, applicants must meet the legal age requirements set forth by the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries. Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.

The Everpark Garage is a drug-free workplace.

Expected hours: 16 per week
