Our Houston based Oil & Gas client is seeking a Contract to Hire
Full Stack .NET Developer
with strong expertise in
C#
and a solid background in
AWS cloud services
to join their team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about building modern, scalable web applications and have a strong understanding of both backend and frontend technologies. This role requires a well-rounded developer with
7+ years of software development experience
, including hands-on experience with
Angular
,
SQL databases
, and at least
1 year of AWS experience
(including
S3, Lambda, SNS, and SQS
).

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain full stack applications using .NET (C#), Angular, and SQL.
  • Build and deploy scalable, cloud-based solutions using AWS services (S3, Lambda, SNS/SQS).
  • Collaborate with product owners, UI/UX designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality software.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing systems for performance and scalability.
  • Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
  • Contribute to architecture and technical decision-making processes.
  • Work with Power BI to integrate and visualize data

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years
    of professional software development experience.
  • Proficiency in
    .NET / C#
    full stack development.
  • Solid experience with
    Angular
    (preferably Angular 9+), and building single-page applications (SPAs).
  • Strong knowledge of
    SQL databases
    and data modeling.
  • 1+ years
    of hands-on experience with AWS services, including: S3, Lambda, SNS/SQS
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and modern software development practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with
    Power BI
    for data visualization and reporting.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
