Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Guard to join our security team doing mobile patrol hours and shifts vary . The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. This role requires a strong commitment to maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance and effective conflict management. The Armed Guard will utilize their training in law enforcement and emergency response to respond to incidents and deter potential threats.

Duties

  • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter theft, vandalism, and other criminal activities.
  • Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to identify suspicious behavior or incidents.
  • Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents requiring security intervention.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the safety of individuals on-site.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
  • Document all security-related incidents accurately in reports for further review.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance skills in conflict management and loss prevention.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
  • Ability to operate CCTV systems effectively for monitoring purposes.
  • Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security risks.
  • Must possess a valid armed guard license or certification as required by state regulations.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
