Structural Technologies' Engineering Program (STEP) is a cornerstone for your growth from an Associate Engineer to a Professional Engineer. Beginning with in-the-field learning and development, our AEs gain real-world investigation and construction experience that will provide a firm foundation for their development in design and analysis. The goal of our STEP program is to develop our people into company leaders. In order to accomplish that, the program has been structured with a competency-based approach along with an emphasis on individual mentorship. Our AEs will typically spend around 4 years in the program as they develop key skills before progressing as a licensed Professional Engineer or Structural Engineer.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering - preference Structural or Materials emphasis
  • Cumulative grade point average of 3.4 or higher.
  • A minimum of one relevant internship experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional documentation and organizational skills.
  • Aptitude for solving problems.
  • Reliable transportation from the office to job sites.
