Presales Associate – Hammer & Nails (Glenview Area)

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and personable Presales Associate to join the Hammer & Nails team. This role is ideal for someone who loves engaging with people, building lasting relationships, and driving excitement around premium grooming experiences. You'll play a key role in attracting new members, enhancing client engagement, and supporting the General Manager in delivering an exceptional customer experience.

This is a remote position with flexible hours, but candidates should be based in or near the Glenview, Illinois area, and be available to visit the store as needed for events or team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively connect with potential customers through phone calls, messages, and follow-ups to introduce the Hammer & Nails brand and membership benefits.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive membership conversions and renewals.
  • Support the General Manager by assisting with presales campaigns, promotions, and local outreach initiatives.
  • Track customer interactions, leads, and conversions using CRM or tracking tools.
  • Represent the brand professionally and enthusiastically to deliver a premium client experience.
  • Occasionally attend in-person events or store visits to support marketing or presales efforts.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal communication and phone etiquette skills.
  • Outgoing, persuasive, and customer-focused personality.
  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or membership-based businesses preferred.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and hit weekly presales targets.
  • Local to Glenview, Northbrook, or nearby suburbs.
  • Passion for health, grooming, and lifestyle brands is a plus
