Job DescriptionVisa Direct is Visa's market-leading push payments platform, enabling real-time funds delivery to eligible cards, accounts, and wallets around the world. It powers a wide range of use cases, from person-to-person (P2P) transfers and cross-border remittances, to gig economy payouts, insurance disbursements, and merchant settlements. Visa Direct is transforming money movement by making it faster, more secure, and more accessible — unlocking new opportunities for consumers, businesses, and governments globally.

Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic, execution-focused Senior Product Manager to join our Visa Direct Digital Transformation team. This role will drive the design, delivery, and continuous optimization of high-impact Visa Direct solutions, from concept through launch and scale. You will be responsible for translating business opportunities into technical solutions, partnering across Visa's global ecosystem to bring innovative, scalable, and compliant real-time payment experiences to market.
The ideal candidate will have deep product management experience, a strong understanding of faster payments and cross-border money movement, and proven ability to influence across business, technology, and regional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Shape and execute the Visa Direct product vision in alignment with Visa's digital transformation strategy.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and use cases for Visa Direct, ensuring solutions are competitive, compliant, and scalable.
- Collaborate with regional product and sales teams to drive global adoption and market penetration.
Product Discovery & Definition
- Lead discovery sessions with internal and external stakeholders to understand pain points, regulatory requirements, and technical constraints.
- Define product requirements, including functional, non-functional, and compliance needs.
- Develop high-level product architecture and user flows in collaboration with Technology and Architecture teams.
Execution & Delivery
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
- Partner with engineering to deliver features via Agile methodologies (SAFe or Scrum).
- Facilitate grooming sessions, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.
- Oversee user acceptance testing, go-to-market readiness, and post-launch performance tracking.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal partners (sales, operations, risk, compliance, marketing) and external clients.
- Deliver clear, impactful communications to audiences ranging from developers to executives.
- Represent Visa Direct in client conversations, industry events, and cross-functional working groups.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure Visa Direct solutions meet Visa's performance, scalability, and security standards.
- Monitor KPIs and OKRs to measure adoption, revenue impact, and customer satisfaction.
- Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, customer feedback, and market insights.
This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in product management, preferably in payments, faster payments, or financial technology.
- Proven track record of delivering innovative, customer-focused products from concept to launch.
- Strong knowledge of payment flows, cross-border transactions, and real-time payment systems.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies Viz. SAFe or Scrum certification preferred.
- Proficiency in product management tools such as JIRA, Jira Align, and Figma.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to influence across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drive product decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, matrixed environment while managing multiple priorities.
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 131,600.00 to 190,650.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
