Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in the hospitality industry. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a passion for food service and hospitality.

Duties

  • Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation.
  • Assist servers by providing support during busy periods, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including clearing dishes and ensuring that all surfaces are tidy.
  • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure seamless service flow.
  • Help with food handling duties, ensuring that all health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Assist in restocking supplies as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen and dining area.

Experience

  • Previous experience in food service or the food industry is preferred but not required; we welcome those eager to learn.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and safety standards is beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with team members and guests.
  • A background in hospitality or hotel environments is a plus, showcasing your ability to work well under pressure.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to help others are key traits for success in this role.
