Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Night Audit Desk clerk for our 10pm to 6am shift to join our team. This is a part time position that requires Saturday and Sunday availability each week. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk during night hours. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for hospitality, making every guest feel welcomed and valued.

Duties

  • Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome.
  • Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all necessary information is collected.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Maintain accurate records of room availability and reservations.
  • Process payments and manage cash handling procedures.
  • Conduct nightly audits to ensure all transactions are balanced and accurate.
  • Prepare reports on occupancy, revenue, and other key metrics for management review.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Provide information about local attractions, dining options, and hotel amenities.
  • Utilize phone systems effectively to manage incoming calls and relay messages.

Skills

  • Strong guest relations skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Experience in hotel management or hospitality preferred.
  • Proficient in hospitality management practices.
  • Excellent phone etiquette for handling calls professionally.
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
  • Familiarity with resort operations is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
