The Role
We are seeking a seasoned SoC Architect with expertise in Security Architecture and FIPS security analysis & certification . You have had significant success driving security architecture, FIPs certitication and product requirements. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting secure systems that meet FIPS and other regulatory standards, driving security IP development, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver certifiable, high-performance solutions. You will analyze performance, power, and area (PPA) tradeoffs, write specifications, and guide the product through the certification lifecycle.

You have excellent communication and presentation skills, demonstrated through technical publications, presentations, trainings, executive briefings, etc. You are highly adept at collaboration among top-thinkers and engineers alike, ready to mentor and guide, and help to elevate the knowledge and skills of the team around you.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and define security features and certification strategies for platforms targeting FIPS, Common Criteria, and other standards.
- Lead security threat modeling and risk analysis across hardware and software domains.
- Drive early-stage architecture analysis and specification development for security IPs.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external labs to manage certification processes and documentation.
- Analyze PPA tradeoffs while maintaining security integrity and compliance.
- Define clear and concise architecture specifications and compliance matrices.
- Work with customers and cross-functional teams to scope security requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship on secure design practices and certification readiness.
Preferred Experience
- Strong foundation in cryptographic hardware for encryption and authentication.
- Deep understanding of silicon root-of-trust, secure boot, key management, and trusted execution environments.
- Experience with in-line and offline encryption solutions across memory, networking, and storage interfaces.
- Familiarity with security standards in data center, networking, automotive, and government sectors.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, and SystemC for modeling and automation.
- Experience with modern design techniques and their impact on secure systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Academic Credentials
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in related discipline preferred
