Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor and assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory health and treatment options.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient care and outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments and progress.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards in all procedures.
• Utilize performance metrics to evaluate and improve personal effectiveness.
• Assist in the development of respiratory care protocols and best practices.
• Contribute to team meetings and share insights for continuous improvement.
• Engage in community outreach to promote respiratory health awareness.

Experience/Qualifications

• Valid respiratory therapist license in South Carolina.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.
• Experience in administering respiratory therapy in a clinical setting.
• Ability to monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans effectively.
• Understanding of safety and regulatory standards in healthcare.
• Strong knowledge of respiratory health education for patients and families.
