Carpenter/Installer – Custom Closets

Closets by Design is seeking a skilled and motivated Installer/Carpenter to join our high-performing team. As an Installer, you will take ownership of custom installations across closets, garages, pantries, offices, mudrooms, and more—delivering exceptional craftsmanship and customer satisfaction with every project.

For over 40 years, Closets by Design has been a recognized leader in home organizing systems. We design, manufacture, and install a complete line of custom closets, home office furniture, media systems, wall-beds, garage cabinetry, and more. We value professionals who are organized, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence in both execution and customer service.

We are currently searching for an experienced Carpenter/Installer to join our growing team. This is not an entry-level role. The ideal candidate will bring proven installation expertise, leadership in the field, and a passion for delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities:
  • Independently lead custom installations from start to finish
  • Interpret blueprints and design plans with precision
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  • Ensure fabrication and installation meet company standards and client expectations
  • Collaborate with team members and designers to ensure seamless execution
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
  • Represent the company with professionalism and courtesy in client homes


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of carpentry or installation experience required
  • Proficiency with construction tools and techniques
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor and lift heavy materials
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required


Compensation & Benefits:
  • Competitive pay: $20.00 – $60.00+ per hour based on experience and performance
