Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional massage therapy services including Swedish, deep tissue, relaxation, and customized therapeutic massages
  • Perform client consultations to understand needs, preferences, and wellness goals
  • Create personalized treatment experiences focused on relaxation, pain relief, and stress reduction
  • Maintain clean, organized, and sanitized treatment rooms in compliance with Illinois state regulations
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and create a calming, welcoming environment
  • Build strong client relationships to encourage repeat visits and memberships
  • Manage appointment timing professionally and efficiently
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures when needed
  • Promote Serene Head & Wellness Spa services, wellness packages, and memberships

Qualifications

  • Valid Illinois Massage Therapist License
  • Experience in therapeutic, relaxation, or deep tissue massage
  • Strong understanding of anatomy, body mechanics, and massage techniques
  • Excellent communication and professional demeanor
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high service standards
  • Reliable, punctual, and passionate about wellness and client care

Preferred

  • Experience with lymphatic drainage, prenatal, hot stone, or cupping therapy
  • Knowledge of holistic wellness or spa-based therapies
  • Retail or membership sales experience
  • Multilingual a plus
