Glacier Middle School is seeking a Reengagement Specialist with strong technical skills and a passion for student success to join our dedicated team. This position plays a vital role in supporting students with diverse learning and behavioral needs while fostering positive, trusting relationships with families and the community.
The ideal candidate will bring strong collaboration skills, working seamlessly with fellow Reengagement Specialists and the school social worker to support a coordinated approach to student engagement. They will demonstrate excellent technical proficiency, including confident use of Synergy and Microsoft Office 365 tools such as Excel and Word, along with the ability to apply advanced features like mail merge and data exports. A successful candidate will also draw on their experience maintaining accurate, confidential student records and their ability to remain attentive and supportive during busy school transitions, ensuring a safe, organized, and student-centered environment.
We are seeking an individual with an asset-based mindset, who recognizes and celebrates each student's strengths and growth, particularly those receiving additional behavioral support. A deep commitment to equity-driven practices and cultural responsiveness is essential. Experience communicating with outside agencies and navigating complex systems is highly valued.

SUMMARY:The Reengagement Student Specialist is a student-support, case management focused role, providing assessment, counseling, tutoring and referral services to identified students. The primary purpose of this position is to provide students with an on-going positive adult relationship to stay in school while encouraging, resourcing and assisting pathway to completion of high school graduation requirements and diploma.
