ERB is urgently hiring 4 licensed Life Insurance Agents to support a heavy enrollment schedule next month.

We currently have 10 active client accounts scheduled for enrollment, creating immediate opportunities for licensed agents who are ready to work onsite, engage employees, and generate income right away.

This is a high-volume, consultative outside sales role with structured scheduling and dedicated enrollment support.

This is a field-based role - no office attendance required. Agents are deployed directly to enrollment locations throughout the Chicago metro area.

If you are licensed and available, this role offers immediate production opportunities. This role is ideal for licensed agents who want organized field work without office obligations.

Compensation Structure (Transparent & Performance-Based)

  • First 90 Days: Commission-Only (Uncapped)

Ramp period to build momentum and demonstrate performance.

  • After 90 Days (Based on Sales Performance):

Option to choose Base + Bonuses, or

Remain Commission-Only (Uncapped)

Top-performing ERB agents consistently earn up to $120K+ annually

This role is ideal for agents confident in their sales ability who want control over their income path.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct group presentations and one-on-one benefit consultations (in-person and virtual).

  • Educate employees on benefit options including Life, Accident, Disability, and supplemental products.

  • Guide employees through the enrollment process using client systems and Employee Navigator.

  • Clearly explain coverage options, eligibility, and policy details.

  • Maintain accurate and complete records within the CRM system.

  • Coordinate closely with Enrollment Outreach Representatives (EORs) to ensure efficient scheduling and high participation rates.

  • Support post-enrollment follow-ups to address employee questions and resolve issues.

  • Represent ERB professionally while working onsite at client locations.

Qualifications

  • Active Life & Health Insurance License (Accident preferred).

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in insurance sales, benefits enrollment, or a related field.

  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and consultative sales skills.

  • Experience with public sector, municipal, or union-based enrollments is a plus.

  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office tools.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

  • Ability to travel within Chicago and surrounding areas as assigned
