Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in directing all aspects of the Finance & Accounting operations, including but not limited to general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, income audit, and payroll.
• Support the Director of Finance in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and forecasts.
• Assist in budget preparation, variance analysis, and strategic planning to support property goals.
• Collaborate with department heads to review financial performance, identify opportunities for efficiency, and ensure adherence to budgets.
• Oversee and perform internal audits to ensure financial accuracy, procedural compliance, and protection of company assets.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure compliance with brand standards, local laws, and tax regulations.
• Supervise and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and excellence.
• Serve as a liaison with auditors, tax authorities, and external financial partners when needed.
• Uphold integrity in all financial practices and promote transparency across departments.

Who You Are

• A finance professional with a strong sense of ethics, curiosity, and the ability to turn numbers into narratives that help drive informed decisions.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or MBA preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in hospitality accounting or finance roles, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Proficient in accounting systems (e.g., ProfitSword, PVNG, Dayforce, Blackline, Rizepoint, , Birchstreet) and Microsoft Excel; experience with Dayforce is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Able to communicate complex financial information in a way that's clear, concise, and actionable.
• Comfortable with tight deadlines, dynamic priorities, and collaborating across all levels of the organization.
• A natural coach and motivator who can lead by example and support others' growth.
• Passionate about hospitality and how thoughtful financial leadership supports unforgettable guest experiences.
