Your mission is simple: maximize uptime and reliability for customers who depend on complex, automated equipment. You'll be the expert who diagnoses, repairs, and prevents failures across electrical, mechanical, and fluid power domains—often on the first visit.

How you'll make an impact

Restore performance fast: Observe live operation to determine root causes, disassemble to access faults, calibrate and adjust control instruments, and repair or replace defective parts. Prevent problems before they start: Execute preventive maintenance programs to industry standards, coordinating closely with customer maintenance teams. Master the controls layer: Navigate industrial control systems to troubleshoot and analyze complex equipment issues, resolving problems methodically. Fabricate what you need: Set up and operate machining tools (lathe, drill press, grinder) and perform welding to make or repair parts when required. Operate with integrity and rigor: Follow customer contractor codes of conduct, safety procedures, and housekeeping expectations; document every action in service reports and management systems. Grow continuously: Pursue on‑the‑job training and self‑study to expand your technical range.

What you bring
  • HS diploma/GED; Associate degree with a technical focus and 5+ years in the industry, or 7+ years of industry experience
  • Ability to use basic and specialized tools effectively
  • Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems; skilled at diagnosing issues, generating alternative solutions, and executing repairs
  • Comfort with extensive travel—local, national, and international

  • Preventive maintenance practices, precision measurement, mechanical alignment, and process equipment maintenance
  • Experience with programmable logic controllers, field devices, and electrical drives/motor systems

Physical realities of the job

Expect frequent standing and walking; hands-on work requiring manual dexterity and reaching; climbing ladders or lifts and balancing; and working in tight spaces (stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling). You'll occasionally sit, and at times lift or move more than 50 lbs. Close and color vision are used regularly. You may encounter outdoor weather and electrical shock risk occasionally. Factory environments are typically loud and may include exposure to hazardous materials and greasy or slippery surfaces.
