Job Posting: Plant Engineer / Maintenance Manager

We're looking for a hands-on Plant Engineer / Maintenance Manager to lead our Maintenance Department and help drive operational excellence in our food manufacturing facility.

About the Role:
You'll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of equipment maintenance, reliability, and facility support while leading a talented team of maintenance technicians. This role requires someone who not only understands the nuts and bolts of engineering but knows how to motivate and grow a team. If you're a skilled fabricator, a strong problem solver, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to meet you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the maintenance team with a focus on safety, efficiency, and collaboration
  • Manage preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure equipment uptime
  • Support production with on-the-floor troubleshooting and process improvement
  • Partner with operations and warehousing to support lean manufacturing initiatives
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
  • Assist with engineering projects, installations, and continuous improvement efforts

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Proven experience in a maintenance leadership role, ideally within food manufacturing
  • Strong skills in mechanical, electrical, and fabrication
  • Hands-on leadership style and the ability to work shoulder-to-shoulder with the team
  • Working knowledge of lean warehousing and production environments
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • A "can-do" attitude and the ability to lead by example
