Main Responsibilities:

· Search, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers.

· Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery times.

· Prepare and place purchase orders based on purchasing programs and suggested buying needs.

· Follow up on the logistics of goods in transit (local and out-of-town purchases) according to the weekly purchasing schedule.

· Keep the vendors and purchasing records up to date.

· Coordinate with the inventory department to avoid stockouts or overstocking.

· Identify opportunities for cost savings or process improvements in purchasing.

· Maintain positive business relationships with key suppliers.

· Verify weekly purchasing programs.

· Communicate daily with suppliers to confirm shipments that have departed or are scheduled to depart, coordinating necessary actions with logistics and receiving.

· Prepare purchase orders and load schedules in advance, including corresponding adjustments, ensuring that merchandise is received according to established conditions (volume, quality, delivery date, and price).

· Integrate supporting documents: product invoices, BOL (Bill of Lading), and any related expenses.

· Monitor market prices daily and provide feedback to the sales department.

· Verify daily price–quality ratios with suppliers.

· Conduct regular inspections of received products to ensure fresh and optimal conditions.

· Analyze sales, turnover, and inventory indicators to improve profitability.
