Community Association Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Community Association Manager (CAM) to oversee the daily operations of residential and commercial community properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, knowledge of property management regulations, and experience in tenant relations. This role involves managing property maintenance, ensuring compliance with legal standards, and fostering positive relationships with residents and vendors. The CAM will serve as the primary point of contact for community residents, board members, and service providers, ensuring smooth operations and high resident satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of community properties, including leasing, renewals, and resident inquiries
- Oversee property maintenance requests and coordinate with vendors to ensure timely repairs and upkeep
- Enforce community rules and regulations in accordance with Fair Housing laws and Section 8 guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of leasing agreements, contracts, and legal documentation using Yardi or OneSite software
- Conduct property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and facilities management protocols
- Handle conflict management issues between residents or with vendors professionally and effectively
- Facilitate lease negotiations, upselling opportunities, and contract renewals to maximize occupancy rates
- Ensure compliance with LIHTC regulations, Landlord-Tenant Law, and other relevant legal requirements
- Prepare reports on property performance, occupancy rates, and maintenance activities for stakeholders
- Assist in data entry, filing, and administrative tasks related to property management operations
- Support customer service initiatives by maintaining excellent phone etiquette and fostering positive resident relationships
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles; experience with LIHTC, Section 8, or Fair Housing regulations is preferred
- Proficiency in property management software such as Buildium, google workspace, or similar platforms like CMMS
- Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, contracts, legal administrative procedures, and facilities management
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict resolution diplomatically
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation, upselling leasing options, and managing vendor relationships
- Office experience including data entry, filing systems, and administrative support functions
- Effective communication skills with professional phone etiquette and customer relationship management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $40, $60,000.00 per year
