We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personalized care in their home or community setting. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and privacy protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
  • Observe and report any changes in the client's condition or behavior to appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Ensure cleanliness and safety within the client's living space, maintaining a tidy environment.
  • Administer medications as prescribed while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy.
  • Support clients with dementia care and long-term care needs, ensuring their dignity and rights are respected.
  • Facilitate mobility and transportation for clients as needed, promoting independence while ensuring safety.

Experience

  • Previous experience in home community care or as a caregiver is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with patient observation techniques and understanding of resident rights is essential.
  • Knowledge of medication administration protocols is beneficial.
  • Experience working with individuals requiring dementia care or long-term care is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams are necessary for success in this role.
