We are seeking a proactive and skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing facility. Duties

  • Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, including hydraulics, electrical components, to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis skills.
  • Operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to diagnose electrical issues accurately.
  • Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to troubleshoot automation systems and implement control modifications when necessary.
  • Conduct welding repairs on metal structures and equipment using various welding techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Assist with field service tasks involving low voltage and high voltage systems while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Support manufacturing processes by ensuring all equipment operates efficiently and safely; collaborate with production teams for troubleshooting.
  • Use a scissor lift or other aerial work platforms safely for maintenance tasks at elevated heights.
  • Follow schematics and technical drawings precisely during repairs or installations to ensure compliance with specifications.

Experience

  • Proven experience in industrial mechanic work within a manufacturing facility environment.
  • Strong electrical experience with knowledge of industrial electrician practices, high voltage, low voltage, and safety standards.
  • Hands-on experience with hydraulics systems, welding, maintenance, and mechanical troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CMMS software, schematics interpretation, and analysis skills.
  • Ability to operate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, multimeters effectively.
  • Experience working in field service roles or supporting manufacturing operations is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of industrial safety procedures and the ability to work safely around high voltage and heavy machinery is essential.
