Our commitment to every learner unites us. UnboundEd works side-by-side with teachers, coaches, principals, and district leaders to ensure every student has access to grade-level, engaging, affirming, and meaningful — GLEAM — instruction. POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Partnerships, the Regional Director is a customer-facing role responsible for cultivating new partnerships, strengthening existing relationships, and promoting high-quality program engagements. This position requires occasional travel (up to 40%) to support customer meetings, conferences, and events.

This role is critical in UnboundEd's sales strategy: qualifying leads, generating opportunities, and advancing them through the sales cycle. The Regional Director is ideal for an educator, consultative sales professional, or customer-focused leader eager to grow as part of a dynamic, mission-driven team. As a Regional Director, your work directly shapes educators' professional learning experiences, ensuring that students—particularly those historically underserved—receive the high-quality instruction they deserve.

UnboundEd is a virtual organization, and this Exempt position can be based anywhere in the United States. UnboundEd has core business hours, during which we expect all staff to be available from 9 am to 5 pm local time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Partnership Development

  • Develop a territory growth plan that aligns with annual revenue goals and key customer targets.
  • Leverage industry insights, data, and historical sales to identify top prospects and generate new opportunities.
  • Provide strategic consulting to your district partners to assist them in meeting their instructional objectives.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline; design sales strategies tailored to account/territory needs.
  • Accurately track accounts, opportunities, and next steps in the CRM.
  • Use CRM insights to advance opportunities through the sales cycle and close deals.
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual and team revenue goals.

Client Management

  • Provide strategic advice to district partners to help them achieve their goals.
  • Deliver high-quality interactions that create exceptional customer experiences.
  • Build trust and serve as a valued partner to schools and districts.
  • Develop expertise in all UnboundEd programs to recommend relevant professional learning solutions.
  • Actively listen, assess needs, and propose the best-fit services.
  • Lead customer meetings and strategies that drive engagement and long-term partnerships.
  • Provide consistent follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction and impact.
  • Stay current on industry trends through conferences, research, internal training, and professional learning.

A bachelor's degree is required (field open); an advanced degree is preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience required; preference for supervisory, sales, or large-scale project leadership background.
A successful track record of quota attainment that exceeds $2 million annually.

The strongest candidates will demonstrate:
