Registration - Front Desk

We are looking for an individual who will maintain a professional manner and appearance as they are the first impression of the Center. This individual will greet patients and visitors of the Center in a professional and courteous manner. This individual will communicate and compile accurate patient information and have the knowledge of standard office procedures and practices.
Responsibilities
- Answers all incoming calls and relay messages/route calls.
- Completes registration process with patients.
- Performs corrections/updates of patient information in the computer system.
- Notifies billing staff of insurance related issues/questions upon patient check-in.
- Assembles patient charts into a medical record format and scans in to the electronic data management system.
- Exhibits teamwork and excellent customer service skills, without exception, at all times.
- Assists with back-up for the scheduler.
- Respects confidentiality and patient safety.
- Performs other functions assigned by the Business Office Manager.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills and Experience
- Excellent computer/typing skills.
- Relevant medical experience of at least two years.
Medical registration and scheduling experience preferred.
Ability to use discretion in handling protected health information.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
