Program Manager – Medical Device CMO (California-Based)

We're partnering with a respected contract development and manufacturing organization seeking a
Program Manager
to oversee complex programs for leading medical device customers. This role serves as the central coordinator between internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring projects launch smoothly, execute to specification, and deliver on time.

The ideal candidate thrives in a regulated environment where communication, alignment, and disciplined project management are essential.

Your Mission

Guide programs from concept through production, balancing technical requirements, cost targets, and schedule expectations while elevating customer satisfaction.

What You'll Drive

  • Lead end-to-end management of assigned programs, including planning, risk mitigation, execution, and closeout.
  • Serve as the primary customer contact, maintaining clarity on scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and regulatory teams.
  • Translate customer requirements into actionable project plans and resource needs.
  • Monitor program costs, schedules, and performance, escalating risks proactively.
  • Conduct regular program reviews and status reporting with internal and customer leadership.
  • Support quoting, change management workflows, and capacity planning efforts.

The Profile We're Seeking

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, life sciences, or related field.
  • 5–8+ years of program or project management within medical device contract manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of FDA-regulated environments and design transfer processes.
  • Exceptional communication skills across technical and commercial discussions.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and effective at managing competing priorities.
  • Proficiency with project management tools; on-site presence required in California; travel as needed.
