Experience is not required, we will provide training.

CMI Group - Cassavant Assembly & Processing is looking to hire several maskers for the Coating Applications Department. Maskers are responsible for performing functions related to masking (tape) of various aerospace components.

HOURS / SHIFT OPTIONS:

Day shift

Night shift (20% pay differential)

LOCATION (South Phoenix): 3725 E. Atlanta Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85040

COMPENSATION: Starts at $ /hour

Responsibilities:

  • Follow instructions listed out by processing job traveler.
  • Follow orders directed by department leads.
  • Apply masking tapes of differentiating adhesive degrees to required areas of various aerospace components.

Training Provided:

  • Masker will begin to develop understanding of blueprint call-outs and other documents detailing areas to be masked from anodic and various coatings.
  • Masker will undergo training from Maskers II & III to develop and hone masking finesse.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing.
  • Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Requires standing, sitting, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, pushing.
  • Requires the ability to lift up to 30lbs occasionally and 5-20lbs frequently.

Other Requirements:

  • Must be a US Person, due to ITAR regulations
  • Must be willing and able to pass a background check and drug & alcohol test
  • Must be able to work full time and reliably commute to our facility in South Phoenix
