Responsibilities:
 

  • Performs tasks: ensure mechanical spaces are clean (vacuum/ mop), change light bulbs, repair infrastructure (calling in service), office furniture assembly and furniture moves. Across 3 buildings in Maryland (2 in Rockville, occasionally 1 in Frederick)
  • Assists with conference and training room set up and clean up for meetings and events for up to people.
  • Assists with delivery of supplies to end user.
  • Contacts vendors for plumbing repairs, service repairs and obtains documentation from the vendors.
  • Escorts service providers to designated areas.
  • Uploads service reports in Blue Mountain.
  • Provides cross functional support for general facilities systems and raises more complex problems or concerns to senior management for guidance and assistance.
  • Ensures work is appropriately communicated to system operators and key stakeholders, including timelines and any issues that impact the work area, to avoid disruptions.
  • Performs other tasks and assists with special projects as requested.

Requirements:

  • High School Degree or equivalent
  • Physical: Ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • 2-3 years of experience working in regulated, controlled environment with access control
  • Ability to communicate across various levels of the organization.
