About the Business Analyst Role:

Business Analysts will leverage and build upon their analytical, critical thinking, and research skills from day one and will work closely with members at all levels of the organization, from fellow analysts to the managing directors and CEO. They are largely expected to support their team from inception to the delivery of a project.

 Role and Responsibilities:

Industry and user research (e.g., market/consumer trends, commissioned surveys, expert interviews)Analysis such as market sizing, building revenue models, and financial analysisContribution to brainstorming and the general direction of analysisCreating and designing client presentationsNote-taking and information gathering during meetingsKeeping up with overall technology and media trends 

You will receive training and coaching on:

Structuring and creating an action plan to work through complex problemsWorking effectively with a team to come up with the best recommendationsStructure and create an action plan to work through complex problemsEstablish and maintain trust-based relationships with clients to better serve themCommunicate effectively across a wide range of audiencesBuild rapport and garner buy-in from internal and external stakeholdersResearch and analytical tools, and skillsAI 

Requirements:

An undergraduate degree accompanied by a strong academic recordExcellent problem-solving, analytical, and research capabilitiesAttention to detail and accuracyOutstanding verbal and written communication skillsA strong interest in the media/tech spaceIndependent, motivated, and proactive team player

Activate compensates its consultants competitively for the impact they deliver. Business Analysts will receive a base salary of $105,000, with the opportunity to earn a discretionary annual bonus of up to 25%, resulting in total potential compensation of $131,250.  Additionally, we also provide a non-contributory safe harbor 401(k) payment of 3% of gross compensation.
