The Purchasing & Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for creating purchasing orders and procuring company products based on an approved budget. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred, and the candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities:

  • Create purchasing orders and procure company products based on approved budget

  • Perform research with vendors and suppliers to find products

  • Create a database of invoices, purchase orders, quote requests, vendor or supplier contract, and update as needed

  • Establish and develop good relationships with vendors and suppliers

  • Respond to emergency requests and expedite orders as needed

  • Perform all other duties as assigned by upper management and leadership team

Required Skills:

  • Attention to detail

  • Able to multitask

  • Organization skills

  • Able to work independently or in a team setting

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred

  • 2 -5 years of prior purchasing experience is required

Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, or walk for prolonged periods of time

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 25lbs. or more

  • Ability to speak clearly and effectively
