Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a new delivery program in the area. The role involves recruiting local businesses to participate in the delivery partner program. You will collaborate with a Field Manager and other local contractors to engage prospective businesses, present the program, qualify them, guide them through the application process, and organize recruitment events.

Responsibilities

  • Visit prospective businesses door-to-door in targeted towns up to a two-hour driving distance.
  • Present and pitch the new program opportunity to prospective businesses to generate interest.
  • Qualify prospective businesses and guide them through the application process.
  • Lead activities and manage pipeline in Salesforce.
  • Support the Field Manager in planning and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch and learns and townhall meetings.
  • Collaborate with local influencers like chambers of commerce and economic development associations.
  • Import Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis.

Essential Skills

  • 2+ years in sales and/or customer service experience.
  • Experience in outside/field sales is highly preferred.
  • CRM experience is required, especially with Salesforce.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • 1-2 years in sales and/or customer service experience.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Field sales experience is a plus.
  • Prior experience in roles involving sales and negotiation with customers is beneficial.
  • Professionalism, enthusiasm, and a high sense of urgency.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities in the field.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in multiple systems and technologies.
  • Ability to travel up to 4 hours round trip daily.

Work Environment

The role involves being on the road 4-5 days a week, with the remaining time spent working from home. Mileage reimbursement is provided at $0.70 per mile, and there is a $50 monthly phone expense allowance. The position also offers the potential for an extension of up to 2 years.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $ $28.50/hr.
