Director Product Management for Vendor Integrations

As the Director of Vendor Integrations & Offer Management (US) within the LOFT Moving application, you will lead the development and management of vendor integrations, ensuring seamless interaction with our platform. This role requires extensive experience in vendor management, order management systems, databases, and third-party integrations. You will work closely with the Directors of Product Management for Internet and Utilities, and work side by side with an overseas PM who also specializes in vendor integrations.
ResponsibilitiesSUMMARY
As the Director of Vendor Integrations & Offer Management (US) within the LOFT Moving application, you will lead the development and management of vendor integrations, ensuring seamless interaction with our platform. This is an incredible opportunity to join a fast-moving, high-growth business unit that is changing the way our property managers support residents across our portfolio. This role requires extensive experience in vendor management, order management systems, databases, and third-party integrations. You will work closely with the Directors of Product Management for Internet and Utilities, and work side by side with an overseas PM who also specializes in vendor integrations. You will be responsible for building robust internal and public APIs to eliminate internal dependencies and enhance system interoperability. This role also involves mentoring and working directly with overseas PMs and development teams distributed across Europe and India, with a focus on vendor, system, and operational performance reporting. You will own the Vendor UI and Back Office UI, configuring the products, offers, and services displayed on the front end, and ensuring that vendor integrations align to specific offer types.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Vendor Management: Lead and manage relationships with vendors, including internet service providers, utility providers, affiliate partners who offer consumer products and services, and internal customers such as our insurance and payments teams, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration.
- Order Management Systems: Oversee the integration and optimization of application order management systems to streamline operations and improve efficiency. Ensure tight integration with our core applications transaction engine, data from external partners, and core RealPage systems provided by Oracle.
- Affiliate Marketing: Oversee the integration and optimization of vendors who are engaging in affiliate marketing relationships.
- Database Management: Ensure the integrity, performance, and security of databases related to vendor integrations.
- Third-Party Integrations: Manage and optimize third-party integrations to enhance the functionality and user experience of the LOFT Moving application.
- API Development: Build and maintain robust internal and public APIs to eliminate internal dependencies and support seamless data exchange.
- Vendor UI and Back Office UI Ownership: Own the Vendor UI and Back Office UI, ensuring they are user-friendly and efficient for configuring products, offers, and services displayed on the front end.
- Configuration and Tooling: Develop and maintain back-end configuration and tooling for vendors, property managers, and administrators to manage and configure the applications effectively.
- Offer Management: Ensure that vendor integrations drive offer types, enabling a diverse and competitive range of products and services for users, e.g., internet, utilities, moving, insurance, and a variety of affiliate consumer products.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the front-end moving checklist and e-commerce product managers to ensure a cohesive and efficient user experience.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and ensure high-quality integrations.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including data security and privacy.
- Team Leadership: Mentor overseas vendor integration & offers PMs, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategic plans for vendor integrations, aligning with overall business goals and objectives.
- Global Collaboration: Mentor and work directly with overseas PMs and development teams distributed across Europe and India, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment.
- Performance Reporting: Oversee vendor, system, and operational performance reporting to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in vendor management, order management systems, databases, and third-party integrations; ideally in a B2C or B2B2C product set.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing vendor relationships and integrations.
- Strong technical skills, including experience with API development and database management.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience working closely with front-end development teams to ensure seamless integration and user experience.
- Knowledge of data security best practices and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
- Experience with digital payments.
- Demonstrated experience in managing and mentoring technical teams.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Experience working with global teams and managing cross-functional projects.
- Ability to write technical requirements and understand data flows to work efficiently with the development organization.
- Strong people skills to influence the direction of the roadmap and external parties' investment into our relationships.

- Mentor and work directly with overseas PMs and development teams, ensuring effective collaboration and alignment.
- Oversee vendor, system, and operational performance reporting to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.

Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges.
