Position Overview:

Maug Cleaning, Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician for a commercial cleaning route in Eau Claire, WI. This position is located within one manufacturing facility and involves cleaning multiple buildings on the property each day. The role requires PPE — steel-toed boots, gloves, safety glasses, safety vest, and ear protection — at all times while on site.

This role is ideal for early risers who take ownership of their work, enjoy working with a partner, and can maintain high cleaning standards while managing their time effectively. It may appeal to candidates with prior experience in janitorial, custodial, industrial, or facility cleaning roles. While you'll be working with a partner, you must still be comfortable around production personnel and other staff members, navigating shared spaces professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning tasks following company standards
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in shared and assigned areas
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and cleaning protocols
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Stay within the client's allotted time limit using strong time management skills
• Travel short distances between multiple buildings within the same facility
• Monitor supply levels and request restocks when needed
• Communicate with management or the client if issues or special requests arise
• Take full responsibility for quality assurance across all assigned areas

Qualifications:

• Previous commercial or industrial cleaning experience preferred
• Strong independent work ethic and accountability
• Able to communicate professionally and work in active environments
• Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Comfortable working with a partner while navigating an active production environment
• Comfortable wearing required PPE (steel-toed boots, gloves, safety glasses, safety vest, ear protection)
• Enjoys early mornings and starting at 5:00 a.m.
