Position Overview:

We are seeking reliable and hardworking Temporary Holiday Retail Associates to support our team during the busy holiday season. This position focuses on core retail tasks such as stocking, cleaning, customer service, organizing shelves, and cashiering.

While gaming knowledge is preferred, it is not required. Candidates with strong interest or experience in TCGs may be considered for a long-term, year-round position after the holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service & Register Duties

  • Greet customers and maintain a friendly, welcoming environment.
  • Assist shoppers in finding products and answering general merchandise questions.
  • Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately.
  • Provide basic information about store promotions and events.

Store Maintenance & Organization

  • Stock, face, and organize shelves to ensure products are easy to find and attractively displayed.
  • Keep the store clean and tidy, including shelves, gaming tables, floors, trash cans, and restrooms.
  • Assist with inventory tasks such as receiving shipments and counting stock.
  • Maintain an organized back-of-house and storage area.

General Operations

  • Support staff during high-traffic periods and assist with line flow when necessary.
  • Help set up and break down store displays.
  • Communicate with management about store needs, low stock levels, or facility issues.
  • Optional: Assist with small in-store events as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
  • Gaming/TCG knowledge is a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organized.
  • Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 35 pounds.
  • Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.

Schedule & Availability:

  • Starting pay: $15/hour
  • Must be available nights, weekends, and holiday hours.
  • Temporary role lasting through the holiday season; strong performance may lead to a year-round position.
