Business Manager- Oral Surgery

Arrow Oral Surgery is a newly-established private oral and maxillofacial surgery practice dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a unique and collaborative environment.
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Business Manager to oversee the non-clinical operations of our office. This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring the practice operates efficiently, profitably, and in a manner that supports our commitment to patient satisfaction and our unique culture.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Management:
- Oversee all financial activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Monitor and analyze practice performance, revenue cycles, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Ensure accurate and timely billing, coding, and claims submission to insurance companies.
- Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and financial institutions.
- Human Resources:
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new administrative and clinical staff.
- Manage staff performance reviews, professional development plans, and disciplinary actions.
- Administer employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment through effective communication and team-building initiatives.
- Operational Management:
- Develop and implement efficient office policies and procedures to streamline workflows.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and dental board requirements.
- Oversee facility management, including maintenance, supplies, and equipment inventory.
- Marketing and Patient Relations:
- Develop and execute local marketing strategies to attract and retain referrals.
- Manage the practice's online presence, including the website and social media channels.
- Address patient concerns and complaints in a professional and timely manner to ensure high patient satisfaction.
- Build and maintain relationships with referring dental practices and other community partners.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a dental or medical office, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Oral surgery practice experience is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in financial management, including budgeting, billing, and accounts receivable.
- Strong understanding of dental/medical billing, coding (CPT and ICD-10), and insurance claim processes.
- In-depth knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and other healthcare regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with practice management software.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions independently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45, $55,000.00 per year
