Responsibilities
As the Permanent Director of Design Build & Engineering, you will

  • Direct and oversee all design-build projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with client requirements and company standards.
  • Lead a team of engineers and designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages creativity and problem-solving.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the design-build process.
  • Work closely with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations and ensure they are met.
  • Review and approve all project designs and plans, ensuring they are technically sound and meet all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of the design-build team, providing feedback and guidance as needed.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends and advancements in the construction industry, incorporating them into our design-build process as appropriate.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Permanent Director of Design Build & Engineering role will have

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on design-build and engineering.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with HVAC systems and related technologies.
  • Proven leadership experience, with a track record of managing and motivating high-performing teams.
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to review and approve complex design plans and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and overcome challenges in the design-build process.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to a variety of audiences.
  • A commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, with a proven track record of delivering projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification in a relevant field is a plus.
