Job Description

The Kitchen Team Member role is more than just a job, it's an opportunity to gain life experience that goes far beyond just making a great product in a friendly environment. As a Kitchen Team Member, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing, cooking, and packaging food safely, quickly, and efficiently while maintaining Chick-fil-A's high level of quality standards

• Keeping the kitchen neat, clean, and organized at all times

• Working safely around kitchen equipment and reporting any maintenance issues to kitchen leadership

• Adhering to strict food safety standards and general safety standards

• Maintaining personal knowledge of proper procedures and keeping up-to-date on new product procedures

• Accurately preparing and packaging food for catering and in-store orders

• Maintaining a high level of product quality and consistency

• Following industry-leading sanitation and safety procedures

• Working with fellow team members to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction

• Modeling and supporting clear communications between the front of house and kitchen staffs

• Carrying out instructions given by the leadership team and Operator

Qualifications & Requirements

• Full time or part time position available

• Must be available a minimum of 3 days a week, with two of those days being Friday & Saturday

• No Experience Necessary: Chick-fil-A is a great opportunity for people of all ages and backgrounds. We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic people who enjoy serving customers. We will teach you everything else you need to know

• Must have reliable transportation

• Able to meet the physical demands of the position which include, but are not limited to, standing and walking continuously for up to ten hours and lifting up to 50lbs

• Customer-service oriented with a positive attitude, warm personality, and love for smiling and connecting with people

• Team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, and a strong work ethic

• Able to multitask and work at a quick, yet efficient and thorough pace

• Able to communicate effectively with guests and fellow team members

• Willing to give best effort at all times
