Job Summary
Cole Technologies Group is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented ACI Concrete Technician to perform field testing and inspections for construction projects throughout Southern Westchester County. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on field experience who hold the required ACI certifications and are looking to grow within the Construction or Civil Engineering field.
Responsibilities
- Perform field testing of concrete, aggregates, mortar, grout, soils, and masonry materials according to ASTM and project specifications.
- Collect, demold, and properly handle concrete samples in the field.
- Record accurate test results and maintain all field documentation and reports.
- Follow proper safety protocols on all job sites and adhere to company procedures.
- Calibrate testing equipment and report any issues to the Lab Manager or supervisor.
- Communicate effectively with project teams and clients as needed.
- Maintain equipment, tools, and company-issued devices.
Required Certifications
- ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician – Grade I
- ACI Concrete Construction Special Inspector
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree Preferred (Civil, Mechanical, Environmental)
- 1–2 years of field or lab experience in concrete testing (preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret ASTM standards and project specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy when performing tests and completing reports.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision.
- OSHA 10-hour Certification (required or willingness to obtain).
- NICET or ICC Soils Certification (preferred).
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
Skills
- Strong observational and analytical skills.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Comfortable using portable electronic devices and company-issued software.
- Professional, dependable, and safety-conscious.

Schedule
- Full-time
- Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend or evening availability based on project needs.
