Are you a Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and loves building meaningful relationships with patients? We're looking for a motivated PA to deliver high-quality primary care while working side-by-side with experienced physicians and clinicians who value collaboration, respect, and patient-centered care.

What Your Days Will Look Like

No two days are exactly the same—but each one is meaningful. You will:

Conduct thorough patient histories and physical examsOrder and interpret lab work and diagnostic testsCollaborate with physicians and specialists on patient care plansDiagnose conditions and develop treatment plansPrescribe medications and administer injections in accordance with guidelines and state lawTreat minor injuries, including lacerationsEducate patients and families on medications, wellness, and preventionCoordinate care and recommend community resourcesMaintain accurate, timely documentation in the EHRParticipate in peer review, chart review, quality improvement, and continuing educationProvide continuity of care by triaging patient calls and messages between visitsAdvocate for patients and support long-term health outcomes. What You Bring to the Team
Active Physician Assistant licenseBachelor's degree and graduation from an ARC-PA accredited programCurrent NCCPA certificationActive NC Medical Board licenseCurrent BLS certification Preferred (But Not Required)
Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MSPAS)Current ACLS certification You'll Thrive Here If You Have
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skillsComfort managing both acute and chronic conditionsExperience documenting in electronic medical recordsExcellent communication and patient education skillsConfidence collaborating with physicians on complex casesStrong time management, problem-solving, and multitasking abilitiesA professional, compassionate approach with patients of diverse backgrounds Physical Requirements
Standing and walking approximately 90% of the dayPeriods of sitting, bending, and reachingOccasional lifting up to 10 poundsFine motor skillsCorrected vision and hearing within normal rangePotential for occasional irregular work hours
