The Opportunity
We are hiring a senior, client-facing
Strategic Account Director
to provide on-the-ground partnership for one of our largest strategic accounts in the Seattle area. You will be the relationship owner and success lead, focused primarily on program outcomes, retention, renewals, and smart expansion. This role reports to the Chief Growth Officer.

What You'll Do

Own Strategic Relationships and Outcomes

  • Serve as the primary relationship manager for one to three enterprise or public sector strategic accounts.
  • Be physically present with client teams in Seattle to strengthen collaboration, accelerate decisions, and remove blockers.
  • Lead quarterly and semiannual business reviews, success planning, and roadmap alignment with senior stakeholders.
  • Monitor account health, risks, and adoption patterns. Build mitigation plans before issues escalate.

Drive Program Retention and Value

  • Build and maintain account plans with stakeholder maps, milestones, and measurable value hypotheses.
  • Orchestrate delivery with Customer Success, Product, Data, and Engineering to meet program goals and SLAs.
  • Translate client needs into clear requirements and advocate for them with internal teams.
  • Document outcomes, wins, and lessons learned to improve our account methodology.

Expand Account(s) Thoughtfully

  • Identify credible expansion paths across new use cases, integrations, and adjacent business units.
  • Partner with Product to scope expansions that align to client impact and our product capabilities.
  • Lead renewals and commercial conversations with a value-first narrative grounded in realized results.

What We're Looking For

Required Experience

  • 10+ years in enterprise account management, customer success, or client partnerships within B2B technology or data platforms.
  • Proven ownership of 7-figure strategic accounts with a record of retention, renewals, and expansion.
  • Strong executive presence and consultative communication skills across technical and business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated program management discipline across complex, multi-workstream initiatives with a clear expansion and retention track record.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment; excellent prioritization and decision-making.
  • Must be based in the Seattle area or able to commute daily for on-site engagement.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in supply chain, risk, compliance, or trade modernization programs.
  • Familiarity with enterprise data, analytics, or AI.
