Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for crafting delicious pizzas while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.

Duties

• Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and cutting tools.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to sanitation guidelines.
• Handle food items with care, ensuring proper food handling techniques are followed.
• Assist with inventory management, including receiving and storing ingredients.
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders accurately and efficiently using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Perform cashier duties when necessary, including cash handling and basic math calculations for transactions.

Experience

• Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred.
• Culinary experience is a plus, with knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is beneficial.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations are essential.
