The candidate will be responsible for supporting the team across all loan sale, asset purchase, and securitization activities. Working closely with other teams in the Capital Solutions Group (CSG), this member of the Capital Markets team will also help monitor CRB's current asset portfolio (>1Bn in credit) and help develop insights on the bank's position in the broader ABS market.The Summer Analyst will gain direct exposure to the leading fintech platforms in the consumer lending space. The ideal candidate will be passionate about wanting to understand how these fintech companies operate and will possess a diverse skillset, as well as deep curiosity with a willingness to learn.Responsibilities:Support active Capital Markets transactions—including but not limited to on-going loan sales, asset purchases, and securitization initiativesAnalyze consumer loan datasets of varying size and complexity in order to inform asset pricing, portfolio management, and internal strategyWork with internal teams (Quantitative Strategies Group, Asset Management, Product Management, Data Science) to execute on team initiatives as neededDevelop tools and best practices that can improve Capital Markets workflows and deliverablesQualifications:Degree in Finance or Economics preferred, but all disciplines will be consideredAnticipated graduation date: Fall 2026- Spring 2027Advanced proficiency of MS Excel is a plusPast fixed income/structured products experience is helpful, but not requiredExceptional analytical skills and attention to detailThis internship will have a hybrid schedule in our Fort Lee, NJ office.LI-JJ1 #LI-HybridHourly Rate: $ $25.00Cross River is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
